These videos totally made my day!!! LOL.
Watch how Xiao Pan saved the little lobster. So kind of him, isn't it. :) You got to love his expression when he slipped and fell down the stairs.
Have you ever seen a chimpanzee doing push ups? Watch how a bulldog did it then.
XD
Mission at the pet shop! Another of my favorites. :p
If you are addicted like me, I have more for you.
Buying strawberry cake!
Xiao Pan helping out at the farm.. and milking a cow! hhahaha. I love how he'd always run to hug his buddy when he got frightened. :p
I WANT A PET CHIMPANZEE TOO!!!!! :(

Beautiful Music
Keep that faith..... cause' you'll never be alone.
The Climb - Miley Cyrus
I can almost see it.
That dream I'm dreamin
But there's a voice inside my head saying you'll never reach it.
Every step I'm taking.
Every move I make feels
Lost with no direction.
My faith is shakin.
But I gotta keep tryin.
Gotta keep my head held high.
There's always gonna be another mountain.
I'm always gonna wanna make it move.
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose.
Ain't about how fast I get there.
Ain't about what's waitin on the other side.
It's the climb.
The struggles I'm facing.
The chances I'm taking.
Sometimes might knock me down but
No I'm not breaking.
I may not know it but these are the moments that
I'm gonna remember most, yeah.
I Just gotta keep going.
And I gotta be strong.
Just keep pushing on 'cause,
There's always gonna be another mountain.
I'm always gonna wanna make it move.
Always gonna be an uphill battle
But Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose.
Ain't about how fast I get there.
Ain't about what's waitin on the other side.

Keep your faith.
Footprints In The Sand - Leona Lewis
You walked with me, footprints in the sand
And helped me understand where I'm going
You walked with me when I was all alone
With so much I know along the way
Then I heard you say
I promise you, I'm always there
When your heart is filled with sorrow and despair
I'll carry you when you need a friend
You'll find my footprints in the sand
I see my life flash across the sky
So many times have I been so afraid
And just when I have thought I lost my way
You give me strength to carry on
That's when I heard you say
I promise you, I'm always there
When your heart is filled with sorrow and despair
And I'll carry you when you need a friend
You'll find my footprints in the sand
When I'm weary, well, I know you'll be there
And I can feel you when you say
I promise you, I'm always there
When your heart is filled with sadness and despair
I'll carry you when you need a friend
You'll find my footprints in the sand
I promise you, I'm always there
When your heart is full of sadness and despair
I'll carry you when you need a friend
You'll find my footprints in the sand

Blind Artist and Indian 'Michael Jackson'
First of all, THANK YOU for the great responses to my Etsy Vintage Feature (one post down). This feature attracted a few more followers to my blog which adds up to 102 now! Thank you every single one of you for making my day. :)
Two very different videos to share with you today. The first video gave me goosebumps. Watch how a blind artist (he reminds me of Karl Lagerfeld. LOL!) painted a Volvo! Incredibly inspiring.. Now I truly understand what it meant by painting with your heart and not with your eyes.
The second video is 'highly recommended' by friends. I never know where this 'famous' Indian 'Michael Jackson' came about until now. Funny or not, you decide. It did make me giggle.. and I have to say, he can dance pretty well. lol. One comment read, ''No wonder Michael is dead after seeing this video....''. :p
Tonight there is going to be an elementary school, class reunion for us....... after 16 years! It's going to be fun~~!!! :D

2010 Resolutions And A Heartwarming Story
I hope your holiday was great? I've finally completed my list of resolutions for 2010 and I'm so EXCITED to get it started! Right... I haven't start on it yet. -.-
**Resolutions for 2010**
Family and friends
22) I will continue to spend more time with them.
Work
28) I will continue to share nice stories, photos and interesting stuffs in my blog (with people who bothers to read).
29) I will continue to come out with art pieces that inspire people.
30) I will conduct art classes for children this year (already in the planning. hee. excited??!!!)
31) I will continue to do my bit for SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), ACRES (Animal Concerns and Research Education Society) and WorldVision. Last year I didn't manage to adopt any child.. I hope I'm able to do so this year.
Okay, I'm sure the list is long enough to last a whole year. You may ask why are some of them in pink and others in purple? Pink = I'm sure I will be able to accomplish them. Purple = I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
As I was doing this post, Nono tested out point 25. Guess what I did? I cleared it up and responded with point 24! (not 26). Heehee.
Before I go, here's a video I've been itching to share. I'd watched it the upteem times.. and it still make my eyes watery each time. This is a powerful (true) story about love and... detachment.
''In 1969, two friends, Ace Berg and John Rendall, purchased and adopted a lion. At the time, Christian was a 35 pound cub. He had been borned in a zoo. The friends raised Christian in their London home. All three became great friends.
Within a year, Christian grew too big, Rendall and Berg realized they couldn't keep him much longer. The two decided to release Chritian back ino the wild. Christian was released into a conservation system in Africa.
Almost a year later, Rendall and Berg decided to visit Christian one last time despite a friend telling them that it was too dangerous because Christian might not even remember them. The two friends flew to Kenya, anyway. When they finally arrived at the reservation, Christian showed up for a heartwarming reunion:
"He ran towards us, threw himself onto us, knocked us over and hugged us, with his paws on our shoulders.'' said John Rendall."
Full story can be found at HERE. :)

Christmas Carol
Check out another adorable piece added to my Christmas series! Good news is, I have decided to proceed with my postcards idea so you can purchase them as postcards soon, hopefully by the end of October (keeping my fingers crossed). If you would like to get this as a print instead, pls visit my Etsy store HERE.
Christmas has always been my favourite festival. Even more so than our traditional Chinese New Year (I am not ashame to admit it). I came from a Buddhist family, we don't celebrate Christmas and there is no winter here in Singapore so I don't understand why this day is so special to me. Perhaps it is the warm feeling you get everywhere you go when this day is approaching? Plus, the shopping and exchanging of Christmas gifts is so much fun!
I remember one of the most memorable Christmas happened during my high school days. I was from the Girls' Brigade. On one Christmas, we dressed up all in white.. with a little tea light candle in our hands, we went from house to house, singing the carol. I will never forget the love, warm and peace I felt that day.
If I could have a white christmas (I mean REAL snow!) this lifetime, I would gladly trade ANY holiday I can have with it. By the way, I already know how my snowman is going to look like.
Before I end this, I have a very cute video to share with you. It has got nothing to do with Christmas but it sure cracked me up. Everyone was having so much fun. Enjoy to this one and tell me if you had or would do this (or something crazier) for your wedding? ;) Have a fun weekend~

''THANK YOU''!!
A Big “THANK YOU” to everyone who participated in the poll! I was hoping to make my life easier by getting some opinions but in the end, most people suggested different names! Take a look at some of the names mentioned in my Etsy forum and tell me what to do.. I'm spoiled for choice! Haha. A few lovely Etsians even offered their daughters' names. I'm honoured. :)
There were two new names that caught my attention though; 'Nina & Nono' and 'Esme & Nono'. I think 'Nina & Nono' sounds better when put together but 'Esme' actually has a more suitable meaning. Nina = Mother. Esme = Esteemed; loved. Help!!
Thank you once again. I hope you guys had some fun or at least you'd have more ideas what name(s) to give your daughter(s) in future. ;)
On a different note, I found this funny video on Youtube last night. There was this DJ from a local radio station who prank called people in the service industry (randomly) to test their service quality. I'm not trying to be mean or disgrace Singapore by posting this but really, it's too funny not to share! lol. Have a fabulous weekend~
PS: Not ALL Singaporean talked like this 'Aunty'. I do admire her courage and good service though.

Love Story
Latest favorite in my Mp3! The lyrics are so sweet.. It's even sweeter when you watch the music video. I wonder if that's what happen when you meet your soul mate; just by one look and you'd know he/ she is the one? Has it happen to any of you? If you think you've found your soul mate, I would love to hear your story!
We were both young when I first saw you
I close my eyes
And the flashback starts
I'm standing there
On a balcony in summer air
See the lights
See the party, the ball gowns
I see you make your way through the crowd
And say hello, little did I know
That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you please don't go, and I said
Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes
So I sneak out to the garden to see you
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew
So close your eyes
Escape this town for a little while
'Cause you were Romeo, I was a scarlet letter
And my daddy said stay away from Juliet
But you were everything to me
I was begging you please don't go and I said
Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting all there's left to do is run
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess
It's a love story baby just say yes
Romeo save me, they try to tell me how to feel
This love is difficult, but it's real
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess
It's a love story baby just say yes
Oh oh
I got tired of waiting
Wondering if you were ever coming around
My faith in you is fading
When I met you on the outskirts of town, and I said
Romeo save me I've been feeling so alone
I keep waiting for you but you never come
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring
And said, marry me Juliet
You'll never have to be alone
I love you and that's all I really know
I talked to your dad, go pick out a white dress
It's a love story baby just say yes
Oh, oh, oh, oh
'Cause we were both young when I first saw you
We were both young when I first saw you

New Moon
Calling all TWILIGHT FANS!!!!!!!! New Moon will be out in cinema this November!!! (screaming and jumping around like mad). Here's the trailer!
Honestly, I was a little disappointed with the werewolves. The book described the size of the werewolves as, 'big as a horse' and in this video they look more like foxes. But still, I can't wait!!! November please come faster!!!
I also found this beautiful tune on youtube while searching for more New Moon videos (think I've watched every single Twilight/New Moon videos on youtube). There seem to be some confusion going on with the songs in the soundtrack. Some said this track was in it but some said it wasn't. To solve the little mystery, I visited it's official site for an answer. Sadly, this track wasn't in the Cd. :( I'll share it with you anyway.
Enjoy to this nice one by Yiruma, River flows in you.

Indigo Children
Indigo Children. The first thought that popped into my mind when I came across this word some years ago was, 'A beautiful child with indigo blue eyes?' Well, not quite.
''The concept of the new children or Indigo children was first introduced by Kryon, Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. There have been many definitions of what Indigo children are. Usually, they are known as very old and highly evolved souls who have incarnated back on earth to help in raising the vibrations of the earth plane to assist in the shift in human consciousness.''
I have a few Indigo friends around me and it is interesting how sometimes our thinking and behavior outside the norm, held some similarities. To have a better idea what Indigo means, read this interview with one of my Indigo friend, Sylvia.

Itching to know if you might be an Indigo yourself? Take the quiz below (www.indigointentions.com) to find out more. Points in bold are the ones that apply to me. I want to know if you are one of us too! :)
Indigo Quiz:
1. Do you feel out of place in today's world?
2. Do you perceive the world very differently from most of the people you know?
3. Do you possess a deep desire to help the world by contributing or being of service in some way?
4. Are you prone to insomnia, restless sleep, nightmares or difficulties falling asleep?
5. Do you have difficulty conforming to the ways and norms of society?
6. Do you feel frustration at the thought of leading an average life i.e. marriage, 2 children, picket white fence syndrome?
7. Are you intelligent although do not/did not necessarily achieve top grades at school?
8. Are you very creative in the areas of art, music, science and/or technology?
9. Do you have several on-going projects at any given time and often multi-task?
10. Do you have difficulty with authority: do you need to understand the reason behind what you're being asked to do?
11. Do you opt for leadership positions or working on your own rather than taking a team position?
12. Do you have enormous empathy for others, yet are intolerant of stupidity?
13. Have you had psychic experiences from an early age?

The New Children, Indigo Children, Crystal Children
''The concept of the new children or Indigo children was first introduced by Kryon, Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. There have been many definitions of what Indigo children are. Usually, they are known as very old and highly evolved souls who have incarnated back on earth to help in raising the vibrations of the earth plane to assist in the shift in human consciousness.''

I have a few Indigo friends around me and it is interesting how sometimes our thinking and behavior outside the norm, held some similarities. To have a better idea what Indigo means, read this interview with one of my Indigo friend, Sylvia.

Inspiring Videos
I was chatting with a friend earlier on when she showed me the video of Randy Pausch. He was a Computer Science professor at Carnegie Mellon University and passed away from pancreatic cancer after battling for many months. Randy Pausch gave a 'final lecture' to over 400 students at the University. Some of you might have watched or heard of it but for the benefit of those who hadn't, here it is.
'Last Lecture' by Randy Pausch
I hope this video has reminded you about the important things in life. :)
The next video I would greatly recommend is by this pianist better known as, 'The Four Fingered Pianist' (Lee Hee Ah). She came to Singapore in 2007 for a one night only performance and I was lucky to be there. As she moved her fingers along the keyboard and played those beautiful tune, I was close to tears. Somehow, it was her spirit that had touched me. Watch this video and you'll know what I mean. :)
The Four Fingered Pianist
Lastly, I would like to share this short video with everyone. Funny but inspiring. :)
