Love and Light~ ♥

I came acrossed this post on Facebook by Doreen Virtue and felt compelled to share it with everyone. This is so so enlightening!

''If you are pulling away from people who are practicing toxic lifestyle practices, you're not alone! When the purpose of a relationship has been served, the "pull" of the relationship decreases. You may feel less attracted to spending time with the person, and may even avoid them. Please don't judge yourself for this process, as it's as normal as any other cycles in nature.

Avoid making lists of all the reasons why the relationship isn't working, as this creates inner toxic turmoil. Avoid having internal arguments with the person! You don't need to justify pulling away from another person, or get their blessings or permission to end a relationship. You're not "the bad guy" any more than they are!

The angels can help the relationship to end with as much kindness as possible.

Think of them as you would a person driving you to the airport: they helped you to get to where you are right now (including making you a stronger person for having gone through turmoil with them). As your flight takes off and you go higher and higher, you can feel love and gratitude to that person's role in your life . . . even if they're not with you on the current flight.

Ask Archangel Raguel (the angel of harmonious relationships) for help in healing current relationships and to attract healthy new relationships.

And remember that your healthful lifestyle and radiant happiness is the ultimate teacher and role model that may inspire others to release old toxic ways, too.  Love, Doreen ♥''

By the way, Doreen Virtue has always been one of my favourite spiritual healers/ authors next to Diana Cooper. Both of them work with the Angels! You can pick a card HERE, to read your Angel's message for you everyday! ;)

Too Cute Not To Share!

These videos totally made my day!!! LOL.

Watch how Xiao Pan saved the little lobster. So kind of him, isn't it. :) You got to love his expression when he slipped and fell down the stairs.

Have you ever seen a chimpanzee doing push ups? Watch how a bulldog did it then.  XD

Mission at the pet shop! Another of my favorites. :p

If you are addicted like me, I have more for you.

Buying strawberry cake!

Xiao Pan helping out at the farm.. and milking a cow! hhahaha. I love how he'd always run to hug his buddy when he got frightened. :p

Rainbow Love (ii) ~

Here comes my second rainbow inspired piece!~~

I attempted to fold myself a paper boat, and to my dismay.......... I'd actually FORGOTTEN how to make one!!! How can I forget something I used to enjoy making so much when I was young! :( In the midst of my panic, I managed to find some clear instruction online and figured out how to make it again. Phew.. I shall start making one paper boat everyday just so I won't forget the steps again. /_\

Rainbow Love~

Who wouldn't love to see a rainbow?!

Two months ago, I was fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of this beautiful phenomenon just before sunset. For no apparent reason, I was feeling pretty down that day (must be PMS!). As I was sitting on my bed, fighting for the grouchiness to go away, I had a sudden instinct to look out of the window. There, right before my eyes was this vibrant, colourful rays. It seemed so near that I felt I could just reach out my arm to touch it. In that instance, my mood was completely lifted.

I know this rainbow was meant for me to see, for it was there that fleeting moment and then it was gone with the sun. I know that my Angels always have their amazing ways to remind me that I'm not alone. I have lost count on the number of signs they've shown me over the years. Some of these experiences had been so unbelievable that still left me in awe as I relate them to my friends. And of course not surprisingly, most of these friends claimed I must be hallucinating. lol.

Do you ever wonder how it feels to sit on a rainbow? Or play among the fluffy clouds? Will I get to see a castle built amidst the clouds? Wouldn't it be great if we can have a day's pass to visit these places? If you do know where to get the pass, please please please let me know. I'm willing to trade in my favourite chocolate bubble tea for the info.

“Life is like a rainbow. You need both the sun and the rain to make its colors appear.”~

If rainbow can be seen at night, it would only be in my imagination...

Have a colorful day.~ ^^

Love Tree Music Inspiration!~

Happy Sunday! And HAPPY MOTHERS' DAY to all the wonderful moms in the world!~ :D

I know I haven't been blogging as much as I love to. And the main reason that keeps me procrastinating is my tendency to spend WAY TOO MUCH time to write one post! My perfectionism never fails to act up whenever I'm updating my blog (or sadly, in most of the things I do. >_<). I will be correcting my grammars, polishing up my vocab and then going through them over and over again till I'm half insane. I  know sometimes I should just learn to let go and let it flow. SO please pardon my English next time and I'll promise to write more often. :p

Here's something I wanted to share since LAST month (this is how bad my procrastination has gotten). Anyway, I received a very encouraging message from a very talented guy by the name of Brian. Brian plays all sorts of musical instruments (including my favorite, PIANO!) and he composes music as a hobby. He told me that he'd found my blog through another webpage, and after seeing one of my art pieces, 'Love Tree', he managed to complete a rough sketch of a piano piece which he was stuck at. Needless to say, I was overjoyed. Thank you for letting me know how my work has inspired you, Brian. :)

And here's the beautiful composition he came out with..... AHEM, inspired by my work! ;)

There are just too many lovely piano pieces on Brian's webpage. Somehow I was especially drawn to, 'Only One'. It gives me a bittersweet feeling listening to it. :) You may check out more of his works HERE!

Have a bitterSWEET day!~~~

Lazy Wednesday

Good day! How is everyone doing?

I've fallen sick again.. blocked nose.. bad throat.. Hate :( But but..... this hasn't stop me from doing the things I enjoy. Heh. First of all, I've finally mastered the beautiful piano piece, 'The Swan' by Saints Saens!! This was indeed a challenging piece for a self-taught student like me. It took me ermm.. more than three months to get it right. But it was all worth it. ^^

Here's one version of The Swan. I hope one day I'll be able to play as beautifully as him..

Besides some private time with my beloved piano, I've been caught up with a book I recently got from the library. 'Changing Your Course (The 5-step guide to getting the live you want)' is a great book I want to recommend to everyone especially those who are looking for a change in your life at this moment. All of us go through changes, big or small, at different point of our lives and this book could be of great assistance. Bob and Melinda Blanchard share their own stories about how they'd transformed their dreams into reality and step-by-step guides on how, we too, can achieve that.~ ^^

The Feet Pianist

''I think that, in my life, there are only two paths; either die quickly or live it splendidly. Nobody stipulated that piano must be played by hands.'' Truly inspiring... :')

Side note: 'Love, Pinkie' is a book which tells the story of Pinkie, a young girl confronted by the daily bombardments of internal struggles prevalent in our fast-paced, perennially wired, 21st century society. It is about life, self-worth, technology, materialism, beauty, friends, family, singlehood, BGR, sex, abortion, religion and dream. Sounds interesting already? Then you ought to check out the author of this book, Christina Siew, from SINGAPORE! By the way she is only 27 this year!! I am going make her share her inspiring story with us soon...

A Beautiful Story With A Beautiful Moth

Something wonderful happened to me recently.... a beautiful green moth had visited my house. It was lingering near the kitchen area when I discovered her (let's assume it was a 'her'). I've never came across such a vibrant colored moth before so I thought it must be a butterfly (until I did some research on the internet).

As I stood there at the kitchen corridor observing this pretty thing, I couldn't help but recalled a story I once read on a book called, 'The Times Of Our Lives: (Extraordinary True Stories Of Synchronicity, Destiny, Meaning, And Purpose)'. During that time Dr. Wayne Dyer was writing the book, 'Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling' and while working on this particular chapter, “The Language of the Spirit”, a butterfly had landed on his finger and stayed with him for several hours. In the chapter, Dr. Dyer wrote about how our 'Spiritual Guides' (God, Ascended Master, Angels, Fairies etc.) try to get in touch with us sometimes. Often than not, we're either too busy looking for an answer elsewhere that we fail to notice the signs when they're presented to us, or we are merely too occupy with our daily lives to slow down and connect with them. He also states that “Everything in nature is in-Spirit – it isn’t spoiled by ego, nor can it ever be. So when nature speaks to us, we should listen intently. When a wild bird touches us, for instance, or a fish brushes by when we’re swimming in the ocean or lake, I believe that it’s a direct communication from our Source of Being. Since these creations of God instinctively keep their distance, when they depart from their DNA patterns to actually contact us physically, I think we should pay attention.”

Back to my story....
I relatively surprised myself as I began to take interest in this little creature. Usually I'd keep a distance from 'intruders' like this one (worse if they're from the lizard family). Perhaps something about its color drew my attention or maybe I was just curious whether what happened to Dr. Dyer could possibly happen on me as well. Once I set my mind on starting a friendship with my visitor, I did what a good host would do when friends visit; I offered the honey water I was sipping, to her. I poured some into a small bottle cap, placed it on the floor near her and waited with anticipation. What followed thereafter left me in awe. Eager to accept my friendship, Greenie (okay, I'd named it) immediately glided onto the bottle cap! I couldn't figure whether she was drinking the honey but it didn't matter. My first attempt was a success!

Encouraged by that, I got more bold. I leaned even closer.. my face just a few inches away from hers. And she didn't flinch one bit! Wow. I knew I had to record this amazing episode down. I dashed into my room, grabbed my camera and faithfully returned to her side. The next thing that happened marked the most touching moment of our lives. I gently placed my index finger right infront of Greenie. Without a slightest bit of hesitation, she crawled onto it! And I almost wanted to cry!!! I felt an incredible sense of warm over me as Greenie stood there on my finger. It seemed like time had stood still. When I finally regained my consciousness, I lifted her up to my face to observe her closely and snapped more photos of her. Apart from the pretty vibrant wings, there were tiny little fur on them. Everything about her looked so mini.. her legs were even slimmer than the thinnest thread I've ever seen! I might not be able to see her eyes but I had a feeling she was trying to figure me out too.

Greenie seemed comfortable standing on my finger so I took her to my room, sat on my bed and continued to 'connect' with her. I knew this must be a sign from my Angel since I'd been asking for guidance about my life's direction. I also know that green is a color of healing and the symbolic meaning of a moth could mean 'psychic perception, intuition, prophecy and clarity'. I went a little crazier by helding her close to my face again and asked, ''Are you my Angel?'' I know.. you must think this Rheea was probably out of her mind. If I was insane, Greenie wasn't any better because right immediately I asked the question, she responded by flapping her wings! Now I really felt giddy. To prove I was really really out of my mind, I tried this again. And she answered with the same reaction!!! I couldn't remember how many attempts I did but I was convinced I was communicating with my Angel! Totally insane. Oh and I forgot to mention it was way past midnight. Talking to a moth at this hour? HA! Almost an hour passed.. I started to get sleepy. Greenie didn't show any sign of wanting to leave yet. I tried coaxing her to go by gently jerking my finger... no reaction. I turned my finger downward and upward, down and up and down... again no movement. I blew on her face.. still no reaction. She was adamant to stay. Finally I decided if I wanted to make her go, I had to take her out. I carefully placed her outside my window pane, making sure I left the window ajar so she could come in again if she wanted to.

When morning came, Greenie was gone. I never see her again from that day on but that precious hour we spent together will always remain in my heart. I feel really blessed to know that my Angels are always somewhere near me.. whether I see them or not. :)

Something For You

Thank you for every single birthday wish on my blog, facebook, twitter and text messages which add up to over 70 of them! Needlessly to say, I was also spoiled with good food and gifts like last year. Due to the immense amount of love and attention I received, I'm still recovering from my lightheadedness. :p Honestly I don't mind going through this all over again next year.

To express my gratitude, I got a song for you. When I first heard this on radio, I instantly adored it. 'Billionaire' by Travie McCoy featuring Bruno Mars. Love the lyric and catchy tune. I know, who doesn't want to be a billionaire. If your desire to be rich is like what the song preach; to make the world a better place to live in, well in that case, I think you ARE already a billionaire. So nope, this is not my birthday wish... I'm already one multi-billionaire.

Travie McCoy - Billionaire Lyrics featuring Bruno Mars

I wanna be a billionaire so f***ing bad
buy all of the things I never had
uh, I wanna be on the cover of Forbes magazine
smiling next to Oprah and the Queen

[Chorus]
Oh every time I close my eyes
I see my name in shining lights
A different city every night oh
I swear the world better prepare
for when I’m a billionaire

Yeah I would have a show like Oprah
I would be the host of, everyday Christmas
give Travie a wish list
I’d probably pull an Angelina and Brad Pitt
and adopt a bunch of babies that ain’t never had sh-t
give away a few Mercedes like here lady have this
and last but not least grant somebody their last wish
its been a couple months since I’ve single so
you can call me Travie Claus minus the Ho Ho
get it, hehe, I’d probably visit where Katrina hit
and damn sure do a lot more than FEMA did
yeah can’t forget about me stupid
everywhere I go Imma have my own theme music

[Chorus]

oh oooh oh oooh for when I’m a Billionaire
oh oooh oh oooh for when I’m a Billionaire

I’ll be playing basketball with the President
dunking on his delegates
then I’ll compliment him on his political etiquette
toss a couple milli in the air just for the heck of it
but keep the fives, twentys (?) completely separate
and yeah I’ll be in a whole new tax bracket
we in recession but let me take a crack at it
I’ll probably take whatever’s left and just split it up
so everybody that I love can have a couple bucks
and not a single tummy around me would know what hungry was
eating good sleeping soundly
I know we all have a similar dream
go in your pocket pull out your wallet
and put it in the air and sing

I wanna be a billionaire so f***ing bad
buy all of the things I never had
uh, I wanna be on the cover of Forbes magazine
smiling next to Oprah and the Queen

[Chorus]
I wanna be a billionaire so f***ing bad

Angels Art (II)

Sorry it took me a super long time to do this post. To refresh your memory, here's the link to Part (I) - Angels in digital art. In Part (II), I'm going to share with you some breathtaking Angels in fine art. Unfortunately, some of the images appear blurry after I blew them up.

Now when your babies sleep peacefully through the night, you know why. I'm going to pray for Angels to sing me to sleep tonight!
'Song of the Angels' by William-Adolphe Bouguereau

This is sweet........... an Angel delivering a message! Have you been listening?
'The Angel's Message' by George Hillyard Swinstead

'St. Cecilia' by John William Waterhouse
I'm beginning to wonder... are these painted by the Angels themselves?

Plenty of paintings like this to remind us that our guardian Angel is always with us! Keep that faith :)

Can anyone tell me where I can meet this Angel? I think I'll just die in his arms. :p

'Joseph and Mary Admiring Their Son are Joined by a Trio of Angels Who are No Less Impressed'  Such a long title -___-'
Love the message of this piece. 'Not Alone' by Danny Hahlbohm

All the baby Angels look so cute!! Haha. I'm going to do baby Angels art in my next Angels Art post. I promise, they're going to be the most adorable babies you've ever seen. You wouldn't want to miss that. ;)

'The Annunciation' by Bartolome Esteban Murillo I love (x10) this Artist's works! I have no idea how he did it but they are ALL impressive. Don't take my word for it, visit HERE and see for yourself.
