A Beautiful Story With A Beautiful Moth

Something wonderful happened to me recently.... a beautiful green moth had visited my house. It was lingering near the kitchen area when I discovered her (let's assume it was a 'her'). I've never came across such a vibrant colored moth before so I thought it must be a butterfly (until I did some research on the internet).

As I stood there at the kitchen corridor observing this pretty thing, I couldn't help but recalled a story I once read on a book called, 'The Times Of Our Lives: (Extraordinary True Stories Of Synchronicity, Destiny, Meaning, And Purpose)'. During that time Dr. Wayne Dyer was writing the book, 'Inspiration: Your Ultimate Calling' and while working on this particular chapter, “The Language of the Spirit”, a butterfly had landed on his finger and stayed with him for several hours. In the chapter, Dr. Dyer wrote about how our 'Spiritual Guides' (God, Ascended Master, Angels, Fairies etc.) try to get in touch with us sometimes. Often than not, we're either too busy looking for an answer elsewhere that we fail to notice the signs when they're presented to us, or we are merely too occupy with our daily lives to slow down and connect with them. He also states that “Everything in nature is in-Spirit – it isn’t spoiled by ego, nor can it ever be. So when nature speaks to us, we should listen intently. When a wild bird touches us, for instance, or a fish brushes by when we’re swimming in the ocean or lake, I believe that it’s a direct communication from our Source of Being. Since these creations of God instinctively keep their distance, when they depart from their DNA patterns to actually contact us physically, I think we should pay attention.”

Back to my story....
I relatively surprised myself as I began to take interest in this little creature. Usually I'd keep a distance from 'intruders' like this one (worse if they're from the lizard family). Perhaps something about its color drew my attention or maybe I was just curious whether what happened to Dr. Dyer could possibly happen on me as well. Once I set my mind on starting a friendship with my visitor, I did what a good host would do when friends visit; I offered the honey water I was sipping, to her. I poured some into a small bottle cap, placed it on the floor near her and waited with anticipation. What followed thereafter left me in awe. Eager to accept my friendship, Greenie (okay, I'd named it) immediately glided onto the bottle cap! I couldn't figure whether she was drinking the honey but it didn't matter. My first attempt was a success!

Encouraged by that, I got more bold. I leaned even closer.. my face just a few inches away from hers. And she didn't flinch one bit! Wow. I knew I had to record this amazing episode down. I dashed into my room, grabbed my camera and faithfully returned to her side. The next thing that happened marked the most touching moment of our lives. I gently placed my index finger right infront of Greenie. Without a slightest bit of hesitation, she crawled onto it! And I almost wanted to cry!!! I felt an incredible sense of warm over me as Greenie stood there on my finger. It seemed like time had stood still. When I finally regained my consciousness, I lifted her up to my face to observe her closely and snapped more photos of her. Apart from the pretty vibrant wings, there were tiny little fur on them. Everything about her looked so mini.. her legs were even slimmer than the thinnest thread I've ever seen! I might not be able to see her eyes but I had a feeling she was trying to figure me out too.

Greenie seemed comfortable standing on my finger so I took her to my room, sat on my bed and continued to 'connect' with her. I knew this must be a sign from my Angel since I'd been asking for guidance about my life's direction. I also know that green is a color of healing and the symbolic meaning of a moth could mean 'psychic perception, intuition, prophecy and clarity'. I went a little crazier by helding her close to my face again and asked, ''Are you my Angel?'' I know.. you must think this Rheea was probably out of her mind. If I was insane, Greenie wasn't any better because right immediately I asked the question, she responded by flapping her wings! Now I really felt giddy. To prove I was really really out of my mind, I tried this again. And she answered with the same reaction!!! I couldn't remember how many attempts I did but I was convinced I was communicating with my Angel! Totally insane. Oh and I forgot to mention it was way past midnight. Talking to a moth at this hour? HA! Almost an hour passed.. I started to get sleepy. Greenie didn't show any sign of wanting to leave yet. I tried coaxing her to go by gently jerking my finger... no reaction. I turned my finger downward and upward, down and up and down... again no movement. I blew on her face.. still no reaction. She was adamant to stay. Finally I decided if I wanted to make her go, I had to take her out. I carefully placed her outside my window pane, making sure I left the window ajar so she could come in again if she wanted to.

When morning came, Greenie was gone. I never see her again from that day on but that precious hour we spent together will always remain in my heart. I feel really blessed to know that my Angels are always somewhere near me.. whether I see them or not. :)

Angels Art (II)

Sorry it took me a super long time to do this post. To refresh your memory, here's the link to Part (I) - Angels in digital art. In Part (II), I'm going to share with you some breathtaking Angels in fine art. Unfortunately, some of the images appear blurry after I blew them up.

Now when your babies sleep peacefully through the night, you know why. I'm going to pray for Angels to sing me to sleep tonight!

This is sweet........... an Angel delivering a message! Have you been listening?

I'm beginning to wonder... are these painted by the Angels themselves?

Plenty of paintings like this to remind us that our guardian Angel is always with us! Keep that faith :)

Can anyone tell me where I can meet this Angel? I think I'll just die in his arms. :p

Treasure Read and University Of Metaphysical Sciences

Tah-dahhhh~~ My lastest treasure read has to be this book called, 'Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction', from the creators of Chicken Soup for the Soul (Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Hansen). I'm sure many of you have heard about the Law of Attraction, specially so if you've read/ watch 'The Secret'. Foreign to this 'law'? That's my point, 'Life Lessons for Mastering the Law of Attraction' will be extremely beneficial for any beginner who wish to learn about this law and how to apply it to their lives. With short story on every chapter, this book is delightful to read and very easy to digest. :) You may browse through the first few chapters of the book here.

I can't emphasize on how awesome this book is.. If I'm a millioniare, I would buy a hundred copies and distribute them to everyone I know... this is how much I love the book and hope everyone would benefit from it. Now I have a little brilliant idea; this year I'm going to buy books for my friends for their birthday! Yes, no more jewelry, clothes, food, cash or car (as if. lol.).... just books. As Abraham Lincoln put it, ''The things I want to know are in books; my best friend is the man who'll get me a book I ain't read.''. I know.. I'm so thoughtful right...heh. For more of my treasure reads, check out my sidebar.

Yesterday I had a deep conversation with Adele (apparently we always share our ideas about life, human behavior, our goals, fantasies... anything and everything! Ha. Hanging out with her is always so nourishing. Anyway fast forward.. I was being introduced the University Of Metaphysical Sciences. As I browsed through the website, I had this profound knowingness.. something was telling me that this is the path for me... Metaphysic! I've always been interested in the study of life - life after death, the spirits, Angels, fairies, vampires, UFO... in other word, the 'unknown'. I also adore Tarot/ Angel readings, astrology, spiritual healing... these are what some people define as 'strange' interests (whatever!). It didn't occur to me that I can actually study ALL of these.. in one, FULL PACKAGE! For instance,

-Dreams,
historical aspects of dreaming and how they were used in ancient practices.. brain states for dreaming, techniques for dream recall and interpretation.

-Reincarnation,
past/future/simultaneous lifetime explorations. Receiving information about our past incarnations, as well as our future..

-Connecting With Angels,
Experience our Angels.. guidance on how to connect with them and hear their messages. :D :D

-Phenomena,
A discussion of phenomena, its history, its effect on mankind, and its place in religious thought - ghosts and hauntings, coincidental experiences, synchronicity etc.

-Hypnosis,
Hypnosis techniques for self hypnosis and the hypnosis of others. How to induce age regression, past life regression, triggering unconscious memories etc..

-Shadow Work,
Accepting the whole self, working with shadow. How to find forgiveness and acceptance of the imperfect self; exploring the big picture, understanding suffering.

Overview of World Religions, Colors & Symbols, Astrology Basics, Crystals & Gemstones and MANY more can be found here.

I don't know how strange these sound to you but I'm overwhelmed with excitement! I can hear myself going 'ohhh.... wooooww....' scrolling down the list. My heart is screaming, 'YES YES, this is for me!!!' Since this is an online school, it enables us to study at our own pace (within 5 years), wherever we are. Now the most important question...................................................... where to find the money to study this course is still a big ? But I know for sure, I can count on my Angel on this... ;)

Your Dreams And What They Mean

Do you know that an average person has about 3 to 5 dreams per night? Some may have up to 7 dreams in one night and I am the latter. What some of you may not know is that EVERYBODY dreams! Even though some people claim they sleep through the night without dreaming, it is scientifically proven that all human beings in a study showed brain activity during their sleep. Just because you can't remember your dreams doesn't mean you don't dream.

I always feel that our dreams are unique to us. No other individual can share the same emotions or experiences. A dream unifies the body, mind, and spirit. It provides us with insight into ourselves and a means for self-exploration. By understanding our dreams, we can have a better discovery of our true self. Try googling 'dreams interpretation' and you will see 4,030,000 results. However there is one site I visit in particular everyday, the 'Dream Moods'. This dream interpretation site allows us to key in a specific key word to get the meaning. Sounds interesting? Last night I had a dream..in fact I had several dreams but this was the one scene I could recall; I was waiting for a bus back home. I waited for a long time to realise the bus I was waiting for will never arrive because it has changed its route. I typed in the word 'bus' in Dream Mood and this was what it said, 'To dream that you are waiting for a bus, indicates a temporary setback in achieving your personal goals. If you miss the bus or get on the wrong bus, then it indicates that an aspect of your life is out of control. You need to slow down and map out a new plan.' I have a feeling it was referring to my career path so I reckon it's time for me to slow down and get my life into perspective again. What have you dreamt about lately?

If you are keen to know more about dreams, you got to check out this website. I hope you have fun. Oh wait a minute. There is one more which you may be interested as well on http://www.cainer.com/dreams/dreamarchives.html. You can find loads of funny dreams some people experienced, eg. 'Losing teeth at my wedding', 'Uncovering the corpse', 'Madonna's red suit', 'Running After My Boyfriend', 'Film-star boyfriend'. Don't be surprise to find a few similar dreams as yours..I dreamt about celebrities on several occasions (I shall keep the details to myself). Lol. Hold on, I hope your thoughts are not running wild? Well, typed in 'celebrities' in Dream Moods to find out more. ;)

Lastly.. animals dream too.

Angels Art (I)

Angels are usually view as messengers. Guardian Angels are assigned to each one of us since we were born, to protect and guide us. Unbeknownst to many people, Angels are everywhere, all around us, watching over us.

Here are some beautiful Digital Artworks of Angels I found on the web to share with you.

Titled: ''Angel'' by Lian-blackdream
Green is never my color but this particular piece changed my mind. If you like Fantasy Art or Portrait paintings, you got to check out this site. ''White Skirt'' is also one of my favorites.

Titled: ''Gabriel--resting'' by Real4fantasy.
This is beautiful beyond words.. the color and the lighting is amazing. I feel like diving into the sea right now!

One of the sexiest Angels I've ever seen. Love the little details of her clothing and hair accessories.

Titled: ''Chorus'' and ''Citrine Chysanthemum'' by Nene Thomas. Again, if Fanstasy Art is your cup of tea (or coffee), this is another site you wouldn't want to miss. Be sure to catch some lovely Fairies on the site too!

These are so dreamy... How can you not fall in love with Angels after looking at these magnificent art pieces.

Titled: ''Guardian Angel'' by Vvola.
Darkly beautiful.. I love her gothic style. ''Black Widow'' is another of my favorites.

Tarot Oh Tarot~

My new deck of Tarot cards!!! Yay~ This is by far the most expensive deck I've got. The illustration on the box first caught my attention and I had to buy it because it was a pic of a beautiful Angel! Haha. For those who are not aware, I have a fetish for Angels. Anway, back to the main point. I was trying so hard to convince myself that since I already own a set of Angel Oracle cards, I can do without this but.. but.. I really like it :( (I probably didn't try hard enough).

Finally, my heart ruled over my head. Now I can proudly show off my latest possession. :D

A bit of info about Tarot. Tarot is used as a mean of understanding ourselves better and gleaning insights into the future. It offers us a form of guidance, help us to indentify any obstacles that stand in our way and the resources that we possess to overcome them. There are a total of 78 cards in a deck - 21 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana (made up of four suits: Cups, Wands, Pentacles and Swords).

I am not a professional tarot reader but I do practise reading for myself once in a while. Well, they were pretty accurate. Hee.

Let's see my other collections. Currently I have a total of 3 decks ONLY.. Yes, I said 'only' because it could have been 111 decks if I have that extra money. I have a soft spot for beautiful paintings so it makes me happier when I can own the whole series of paintings by simply buying one deck of cards.

How can I resist these beautifully illustrated Mermaids (click on image to view a larger pic).

Now, I have something different for you, my Gothic Vampire deck. If Twilight decides to have a Tarot series, I would gladly trade this with it. Err.. no wait, I take back my words. I will keep this and add that to my collections.

Alright, enough of my showing off. Now let's see the one on my to-buy-list (scrolling down the long list)...

You got to love this, The Bohemian Gothic Tarot was voted number ''Deck of the Year'' on the Aeclectic Tarot forum. I get all excited by just looking at these pics. I WANT ONE!

Hope you've enjoyed my little collections. If you're looking for a Tarot book, I would greatly recommend the one I'm using. You can see an image of the book here. Unless of course if you'd rather invest this bit of money on a deck of cards than getting a book, I have this awesome online Tarot interpretation you can check out.

Not enough? Since I'm feeling so generous today, I'm going to help you save money on the cards as well. Nah! Click here to get FREE Tarot readings! Well well.. it's still not too late to say you love me. lol. Have a wonderful weekend~ :D

Dreams. They Do Come True

The book I've been caught up in after the completion of my Twilight saga, is what I'm about to recommend. All thanks to my best friend who graciously loaned me this book even before she read it herself. 'Hot Chocolate for the Mystical Lover: 101 true stories of soulmates brought together by Divine Intervention' is a must-have for every romance book lovers.

For the benefit of those who are eager to browse through the book, I'd pick one of my favorite stories (summarised) to share with you.

A Dream Of Love (by Phyllis W. Curott)

There is nothing more divinely magical than a dream of love that comes true. Several years ago, I decided I was ready to have real love in my life.

I asked for the love that was right for me, that would make me happy and fulfilled. You learn quickly to be careful what you ask for, because you may well get it, and you also learn to trust the universe to bring what's best for you. I also asked the Goddess to give me a sign so I'd recognise him.

Months went by, and no one appeared. But I didn't give up hope. I decided to stop dating, to make room for the right person.

Then one night, the Goddess sent me my sign. I had a dream so vivd that I felt as if I was awake. I was standing in the middle of huge puffy white clouds filled with light. Suddenly, a man stepped out of the cloud in front of me. I couldn't see his face because he was lit from behind, but he was wearing a black leather jacket and black pants and had dark hair. He puts his hand out to me and a motorcycle appeared next to him, black and full of shining chrome. I found myself climbing onto the back of the bike and he was seated in front of me. He gunned the engines and we took off into the light, surrounded by the roar of engine and wonderful laughter.

I woke up with a start - the phone was ringing. I picked it up, still half asleep. It was my best friend, Mitchell, who immediately began urging me to go out with another friend of his - Bruce Fields.

''I was telling him all about you last night and he really wants to meet you. He's one of New York's top photographers, he's got a house on the ocean in the Hamptons, he's got three fabulous stereos...''- at which point I cut him off.

''No, Mitchell, I've sworn off men,'' I said, yawning. But Mitchell was determined. ''He's very good looking. And he rides a Harley.''

''What?'' I exclaimed, now wide awake.

''It's a motorcycle,'' he replied.

''I know it's motorcycle. What color is it?'' I asked, holding my breath.

''It's black, with a lot of chrome.''

''I'll meet him,'' I laughed.

A few nights later, I did. He was dark haired, handsome, and had a wonderful sense of humor. But best of all, he was dressed in a black T-shirt and jeans, and he tossed on a black leather jacket as we left his Soho studio to checkout some art galleries.

Our second date was on that Harley. And it was parked in the backyard of our country house when we were married a few years later.

Want to read more of such stories? Go get the book! :)

To end the topic for today, I have a VERY sweeeeeet video to share. It will sure put a big smile on your face. And remember, the next time you wish for something, pay attention.

Indigo Children

Indigo Children. The first thought that popped into my mind when I came across this word some years ago was, 'A beautiful child with indigo blue eyes?' Well, not quite.

''The concept of the new children or Indigo children was first introduced by Kryon, Lee Carroll and Jan Tober. There have been many definitions of what Indigo children are. Usually, they are known as very old and highly evolved souls who have incarnated back on earth to help in raising the vibrations of the earth plane to assist in the shift in human consciousness.''

I have a few Indigo friends around me and it is interesting how sometimes our thinking and behavior outside the norm, held some similarities. To have a better idea what Indigo means, read this interview with one of my Indigo friend, Sylvia.

Lazy Sunday

What are you doing on a Sunday? Lazing around at home? I prefer to relax at home on a Sunday.. spending time with my family, checking the emails or reading a good book.

I'm currently reading this book 'Angel Inspiration'. My third book by Diana Cooper! If you've read/ watched 'The Secret' before, I'm sure you'll be able to relate to this book 'A Little Light On The Spiritual Law' , also by Diana Cooper. In fact, I prefer her style than 'The Secret'. With stories and logics explained, I find it alot easier to understand. Just personal preference.

The first book that changed my life was also a book by Diana Cooper, 'Angel Answers'. That was when I began to fall in love with Angels and all books by Diana Cooper. Thank you Adele and Sylvia for sharing these great books with me! :)

Though I come from a Buddhist family, I firmly believe that all religions are the same. Guess I shall not go into that. Haha. But honestly, I do believe that Angels exist!!
