Q: How can I calculate my body/fat ratio?
A: Well, if you have a body and you have fat, your ratio is one to one. If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to one, etc.

Q: What are some of the advantages of participating in a regular exercise
program?
A: Can't think of a single one, sorry. My philosophy is: No Pain ... Good !

Q: I've heard that cardiovascular exercise can prolong life; is this true?
A: Your heart is only good for so many beats, and that's it. Don't waste them on exercise. Everything wears out eventually. Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer; that's like saying you can extend the life of your car by driving it faster. Want to live longer? Take a nap.

Q: Should I reduce my alcohol intake?
A: No, not at all. Wine is made from fruit. Brandy is distilled wine, that
means they take the water out of the fruity bit so you get even more of the goodness that way. Beer is also made out of grain. Bottoms up!

Q: Aren't fried foods bad for you?
A: YOU'RE NOT LISTENING!!! Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil. In fact, they're permeated in it. How could getting more vegetables be bad for you?

Q: Is chocolate bad for me?
A: Are you crazy? HELLO ... Cocoa beans! Another vegetable!!! It's the best feel-good food around!

Q: Is swimming good for your figure?
A: If swimming is good for your figure, explain whales to me.

Q: Is getting in shape important for my lifestyle?
A: Hey! 'Round' is a shape!



Isn't it wonderful if these are the answers from your doctor? We can eat all the chocolate we want! :D

New Moon

Calling all TWILIGHT FANS!!!!!!!! New Moon will be out in cinema this November!!! (screaming and jumping around like mad). Here's the trailer!



Honestly, I was a little disappointed with the werewolves. The book described the size of the werewolves as, 'big as a horse' and in this video they look more like foxes. But still, I can't wait!!! November please come faster!!!

I also found this beautiful tune on youtube while searching for more New Moon videos (think I've watched every single Twilight/New Moon videos on youtube). There seem to be some confusion going on with the songs in the soundtrack. Some said this track was in it but some said it wasn't. To solve the little mystery, I visited it's official site for an answer. Sadly, this track wasn't in the Cd. :( I'll share it with you anyway.

Many dogs today are purchased and abandoned later when the novelty wears off. Worse still, some of these poor dogs are being abused. Look at these cute faces once again and tell me how can anyone be so heartless to our best companion? I hope these people get tortured by dogs in their next life! Opps sorry.. didn't mean to curse, I just can't help it.

The Nightmare Is Here

Hands up for those of you who haven't get a chicken pox! Good to know I'm not alone (my hand was up as well). :(

My brother got the pox last Sunday.. Instead of quarantining himself, he had been walking all over the house without a shirt on! He even came into my room several times a day to update me his condition. And each time before he left, he added, ''The doctor says you have 98% chances of getting it.'' Right! Thanks but I don't need the reminder! I could have scream at him to keep a hundred metres away from me but then I thought since I'm going to get it sooner or later, there's no point in avoiding. No, I don't just sit at home everyday to wait for the pox attack, I carry on my life as usual.

This reminds me of a funny picture when we were young. Several of my cousins got their chicken pox all at the same time, but instead of hiding away from them, we continued to play with them. I wanted to get the pox so badly after the adults told us that the older you get it, the more painful it will be. I even run to hug my cousin! Sadly, I still did not get it. lol. Is there a possibility that some people might never get a chicken pox in their lifetime? I hope I'm one of them..

During this period of time, my friends have been checking in to see if I've shown any signs of chicken pox. They seemed more concern than me. And I joked that I shouldn't be getting chicken pox since I do not consume chicken! (I'm a pescetarian). lol. Don't worry my friends, I'm still feeling strong and energetic! hehe. If I get it anytime soon, I'll update again.

This weekend I'm hoping to head out to the beach. Please pray for a pox-less weekend for me. Enjoy yours too! :D

Holly Rocks

My very FIRST purchase from Etsy! I've always like necklaces.. all kinds of necklaces.. funky ones, cute ones, elegant ones.. (one day I should take a pic of them all and show it off here). Anyway that's beside the point.

Two weeks ago, I decided to take a little tour around Holly's store and found this lovely vintage key necklace. I dropped her a message hoping she could make a longer chain for me, that I would pay a little extra. Guess what was her reply? She said she could do it at no extra cost because.... I AM HER BUDDY! Did you hear that? She's calling me, 'BUDDY'! (I hope she don't just call everyone her buddy).



You might be curious how Holly and I came to 'know' each other. Holly was one of my very dear faithful blog readers (of course I am hers too). This sweet lady would always be the first few person to visit my blog each time I made a new post. After frequenting each other's blog for a period of time and interacting through blog comments, we got to know each other better. That should be how 'buddy' came about. (Anything you wish to add on, Holly?) Not only that. Holly discovered my passion for music through my blog and so, she included a cute music note keychain to the package. How sweet is that! :) (Sorry Holly, I hope your customers are not going to start pressing you for free gift after reading this).



I really like the contrast of the silver chain and the key.
