If you like a pinch of color, here's one in store.
After much consideration, I've opened a 2nd etsy store and 'relocated' all my Dollgift merchandise over. Fans of Dollgift, I hope you will visit our new store and continue to show us your support. Do you know I nearly bang my head on the wall for not doing this earlier when there were fewer items. Serves me right for being lazy, I had to re-list EVERYTHING again. The worse has yet to come. Read on to find out more...
For those of you who have been following Byrheea's news, most of the paintings are available in store now! Below are a few samples. If you like what you're seeing, please visit here for more details.
Now my worse nightmare is here. In brief, I have TWO official websites to maintain (byrheea.com and mydollgift.com), TWO etsy stores, DeviantArt, Flickr and a BLOG! Sigh. Why have I landed myself in this state. I know I have to find a solution to make my life easier (before I decide to bang my head on the wall again). SO. After weighing my options and going through all the agony.. I'm going with this solution; to remove the ENTIRE shopping carts from my official site and link the merchandise page directly to my Etsy store. But. Saying is easier than doing because this means all my effort and blood and tears and sweat and sleepless nights and...and... will all go down the toilet bowl.
Now I only hope you (yes everyone of you) could please pay a last visit to my site before I kill it. Thank you. Excuse me if you would for now, I need some time to grief...
Although my Angel came late for my birthday, it was no doubt a big surprise. :D Few months ago, I made a post on my blog asking for a hugh Angel poster to replace the Final Fantasy poster that had been sitting on my wall for the last 13 years. Guess what, I got it today!
I owe it to this dear friend who took the trouble to search online and found this lovely Angel for me. Remember what people always say, 'Be careful what you wish for because you might well get it'? Well, it happened to me ;)
Happy Monday! Hope your weekend was good. I had a busy busy week; meeting up old friends, renewing acquaintance with friends I haven't seen for the last decade.. busy eating YUMMY food and busy collecting PRESENTS! Hee hee. Yes, it was my BIRTHDAY!!! The actual day was supposed to be yesterday but 'celebration' started since last Wednesday. Lucky me eh? How can I disagree judging from these lovely presents I've got. A big thank you to my beloved family and friends. I feel so loved. :')
Believe it or not, there will be MORE presents I'm getting this week. Now you know how busy I am? :p
This is the quilt I've done for the Charity Art Quilt Project hosted by Heidi to benefit the Strive For Life Foundation. Artists from all over the world are contributing one quilt square each with a gypsy theme. She will then assemble these squares and auction off to raise money to help the street kids of Romania.
I had a hard time working on it since this was the first time I'd ever sewn a quilt. Luckily for me, I have some basic sewing skills... so it wasn't too bad afterall. Hehe. Though I did screw up on my first attempt and had to ask Heidi for more time to make a 2nd piece. This was what the lovely Heidi responded, 'Please do not be overly critical of your work - remember we judge ourselves far more harshly than others ever could. I am sure your square is beautiful, and it is ever so appreciated, especially because you are stretching outside of your familiar art medium to help out.'' Touched... :') Thank God I didn't let her down this time. Hope my 2nd attempt was good enough.
If you think you might be interested to take part in this meaningful project, please visit Heidi's blog for more information. I'm sure she will be very happy to have you on board. :)
Despite the fact that I am never a big fan of Mariah Carey, songs like 'Hero', 'I'll be there' and 'When you believe' (feat. Whitney Houston) are music that touch my heart. These are also songs that brought back wonderful memories of my high school days. Oh, not forgetting that cute Christmas track 'All I want for Christmas is you' from the movie, 'Love Actually'.
Here is one beautiful track from her latest album that I constantly replay in my mp3. Love the lyrics. May your weekend be as beautiful :)
This is for my people's who just lost somebody Your best friend, your baby, your man or your lady Put your hand way up high, we will never say bye
Mamas, daddies, sisters, brothers, friends and cousins This is for my people's who lost their grandmothers Lift your head to the sky 'cause we will never say bye
As a child there were them times I didn't get it but you kept me alive I didn't know why you didn't show up sometimes It's something more than saying, "I miss you" But when we talked too
All them grown full things separation brings You never let me know it, you never let it show Because you loved me and obviously There's so much more left to say If you were with me today face to face
I never knew I could hurt like this And everyday life goes on like I wish I could talk to you for awhile I wish I could find a way try not to cry As time goes by
And soon as you reached a better place Still I'll give the whole world to see your face And I'm bragging next to you It feels like you gone too soon Now the hardest thing to do is say bye bye
And you never got the chance to see how good I've done And you never got to see me back at number one I wish that you were here to celebrate together I wish that we could spend the holidays together
I remember when you used to tuck me in at night With the teddy bear you gave me that I held so tight I thought you were so strong that you can make it through whatever It's so hard to accept the fact you're gone forever
I never knew I could hurt like this And everyday life goes on like I wish I could talk to you for awhile I wish I could find a way try not to cry As time goes by
And soon as you reached a better place Still I'll give the world to see your face And I'm bragging next to you It feels like you gone too soon The hardest thing to do is say bye bye
Congratulations to myself on winning the "Kreativ Blogger" Award! Thank you BrigaBauble for finding my blog 'kreative'. I know this seems like some kind of chain mail but who cares, I just like the sound of the word, 'award'.

The book I've been caught up in after the completion of my Twilight saga, is what I'm about to recommend. All thanks to my best friend who graciously loaned me this book even before she read it herself. 'Hot Chocolate for the Mystical Lover: 101 true stories of soulmates brought together by Divine Intervention' is a must-have for every romance book lovers.
For the benefit of those who are eager to browse through the book, I'd pick one of my favorite stories (summarised) to share with you.
A Dream Of Love(by Phyllis W. Curott)
There is nothing more divinely magical than a dream of love that comes true. Several years ago, I decided I was ready to have real love in my life.
I asked for the love that was right for me, that would make me happy and fulfilled. You learn quickly to be careful what you ask for, because you may well get it, and you also learn to trust the universe to bring what's best for you. I also asked the Goddess to give me a sign so I'd recognise him.
Months went by, and no one appeared. But I didn't give up hope. I decided to stop dating, to make room for the right person.
Then one night, the Goddess sent me my sign. I had a dream so vivd that I felt as if I was awake. I was standing in the middle of huge puffy white clouds filled with light. Suddenly, a man stepped out of the cloud in front of me. I couldn't see his face because he was lit from behind, but he was wearing a black leather jacket and black pants and had dark hair. He puts his hand out to me and a motorcycle appeared next to him, black and full of shining chrome. I found myself climbing onto the back of the bike and he was seated in front of me. He gunned the engines and we took off into the light, surrounded by the roar of engine and wonderful laughter.
I woke up with a start - the phone was ringing. I picked it up, still half asleep. It was my best friend, Mitchell, who immediately began urging me to go out with another friend of his - Bruce Fields.
''I was telling him all about you last night and he really wants to meet you. He's one of New York's top photographers, he's got a house on the ocean in the Hamptons, he's got three fabulous stereos...''- at which point I cut him off.
''No, Mitchell, I've sworn off men,'' I said, yawning. But Mitchell was determined. ''He's very good looking. And he rides a Harley.''
''What?'' I exclaimed, now wide awake.
''It's a motorcycle,'' he replied.
''I know it's motorcycle. What color is it?'' I asked, holding my breath.
''It's black, with a lot of chrome.''
''I'll meet him,'' I laughed.
A few nights later, I did. He was dark haired, handsome, and had a wonderful sense of humor. But best of all, he was dressed in a black T-shirt and jeans, and he tossed on a black leather jacket as we left his Soho studio to checkout some art galleries.
Our second date was on that Harley. And it was parked in the backyard of our country house when we were married a few years later. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Want to read more of such stories? Go get the book! :)
To end the topic for today, I have a VERY sweeeeeet video to share. It will sure put a big smile on your face. And remember, the next time you wish for something, pay attention.
And the lucky winner of my bookmark giveaway goes to .................................................. Gail from TheBlueDaisy!!! Congratulation Gail! Please let me know which of the below 4 bookmarks you like and it will be on its way to your doorstep! :D
Thank you for those who took part in this little game. I hope you had fun. Have a great weekend.~
Due to the popularity of my white lullaby pillow, I've come out with the black version! Funny how initially I made this pillow from the fabric print I'd used on my notebook for fun's sake and turned out, it sold better than the notebook. So the next time you have any weird ideas, just go ahead and do it. You never know who is going to like your crazy stuff.
For more information on this black pillow, please visit my etsy store here.
Can't decide whether to get the white or black one? Get a set for a better price then.
Customer requested for names to be sewn on the pillows.
I will be coming out with a series of black notebooks following this. Black fetishes out there, stay tuned!
One last thing to share before I go. 'A Letter For You' postcard made it to the treasury! Yay. Thanks for featuring my work Kym (kimbuktu). My etsy shop has a little over 100 hearts now! Thank you for all the support. :)
