Life Is A Wonderland

Alice in Wonderland -- LOVE!! Another favorite film directed by Tim Burton. And it HAS to be with Johnny Depp. He'd always create the most bizarre (may I add, sexy.) character for Johnny Depp. My first love was his earlier movie, Edward Scissorhands (1990).
follow by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)

then Sweeney Todd (2007)
and now........... Alice in Wonderland!
Am I a psycho to love these....... eccentric characters?
Love the BIG head, red queen too! And I just realise she was that lead actress in Sweeney Todd. Nice!
Watching Alice in Wonderland has given me some inspiration. In the film, Alice was brave and courageous when she encountered danger in the wonderland. She faced her fear (the huge monster bear) head on, because she assumed it was yet another recurring nightmare. She thought she would eventually wake up and everything will be back to normal again.

Wouldn't it be great if we all perceive our lives as the wonderland, and ourselves as Alice? We explore it with excitement.. we are fearless no matter what life dishes out on us, for we know we'll eventually wake up and life will resume to normal again anyway. In fact, I feel that life is indeed a dream; one full of adventures. Sometimes we have sweet dreams... other times, not so pleasant ones. BUT they will all be over when the alarm clock goes off (when our time is up on earth) and we're force to wake up... Would you want to explore your dream with excitement, with courage, lots of love and fun? Or wake up wishing you could go back to sleep, to dream that same dream all over again?

I certainly want to be Alice. :)

“The best thing about dreams is that fleeting moment, when you are between asleep and awake, when you don't know the difference between reality and fantasy, when for just that one moment you feel with your entire soul that the dream is reality, and it really happened.” --Author Unkown

I know there are a lot of people who didn't think it was that great, but I'm with you. I loved it! It was so enchanting and vibrant. Tim Burton and Johnny Depp are definitely a good team. The girl who played the Red Queen, Helena Bonham Carter, is Tim Burton's wife. Did you know that? I thought it was cute when I found out. Hope you have a wonderful weekend, buddy!
