Which Is Your Sleeping Posture?
Don't cheat. Decide on the pic before you read the answers!
I am a combination of 'side sleeper lying on one side' and 'side sleeper on one knee bended' (with my bolster). I guess this can't be accurate since there is no way these two descriptions can go together. Haha. What about yours? It would be interesting to know whose is 'unknown covering from head to toe'. Don't laugh, I have a friend who sleep like that and I shall not reveal her identity. lol

Cat Socrates
Dollgift postcards and bookmarks in store at Cat Socrates! The store is located at 231 Bain Street, Bras Basah Complex #03-39B, Singapore. Don't say I didn't warn you - Only enter this store if you have a very strong will, otherwise, be prepared to burn a hole in your pocket.
Every time I walk into the store, I get really frustrated because there are just so many things I want to buy! lol. They have a wide range of lovely paper products (of course including mine!!), adorable tin toys, cool accessories and a little cafe to relax to. Once you get in, you wouldn't want to leave. Words alone can't do this place justice so, I have pics to prove it.
By the way, these pics are taken by the boss, Hellen. Her photographic skill is amazing I tell you. Look at how brilliantly she'd photographed my products. Thank you Hellen!
If you are a cat lover, all the more you should come. For more pics or information, check out Hellen's flickr and her blog.

Tarot Oh Tarot~
My new deck of Tarot cards!!! Yay~ This is by far the most expensive deck I've got. The illustration on the box first caught my attention and I had to buy it because it was a pic of a beautiful Angel! Haha. For those who are not aware, I have a fetish for Angels. Anway, back to the main point. I was trying so hard to convince myself that since I already own a set of Angel Oracle cards, I can do without this but.. but.. I really like it :( (I probably didn't try hard enough).
Finally, my heart ruled over my head. Now I can proudly show off my latest possession. :D
A bit of info about Tarot. Tarot is used as a mean of understanding ourselves better and gleaning insights into the future. It offers us a form of guidance, help us to indentify any obstacles that stand in our way and the resources that we possess to overcome them. There are a total of 78 cards in a deck - 21 Major Arcana and 56 Minor Arcana (made up of four suits: Cups, Wands, Pentacles and Swords).
I am not a professional tarot reader but I do practise reading for myself once in a while. Well, they were pretty accurate. Hee.
Let's see my other collections. Currently I have a total of 3 decks ONLY.. Yes, I said 'only' because it could have been 111 decks if I have that extra money. I have a soft spot for beautiful paintings so it makes me happier when I can own the whole series of paintings by simply buying one deck of cards.
How can I resist these beautifully illustrated Mermaids (click on image to view a larger pic).
Now, I have something different for you, my Gothic Vampire deck. If Twilight decides to have a Tarot series, I would gladly trade this with it. Err.. no wait, I take back my words. I will keep this and add that to my collections.
Alright, enough of my showing off. Now let's see the one on my to-buy-list (scrolling down the long list)...
You got to love this, The Bohemian Gothic Tarot was voted number ''Deck of the Year'' on the Aeclectic Tarot forum. I get all excited by just looking at these pics. I WANT ONE!
Hope you've enjoyed my little collections. If you're looking for a Tarot book, I would greatly recommend the one I'm using. You can see an image of the book here. Unless of course if you'd rather invest this bit of money on a deck of cards than getting a book, I have this awesome online Tarot interpretation you can check out.
Not enough? Since I'm feeling so generous today, I'm going to help you save money on the cards as well. Nah! Click here to get FREE Tarot readings! Well well.. it's still not too late to say you love me. lol. Have a wonderful weekend~ :D

Can I Borrow $25?
A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.
SON: 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD: 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON: 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' the man said angrily.
SON: 'I just want to know. Please tell me, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD: 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'
SON: 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON: 'Daddy, may I please borrow $25?'
The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your room and go to bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't work hard everyday for such childish frivolity.'
The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.
The man sat down and started to get even angrier about the little boy's questions. How dare he ask such questions only to get some money?
After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down , and started to think: Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25 and he really didn't ask for money very often The man went to the door of the little boy's room and opened the door.
'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.
'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.
'I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. 'It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'
The little boy sat straight up, smiling. 'Oh, thank you daddy!' he yelled. Then, reaching under his pillow he pulled out some crumpled up bills.
The man saw that the boy already had money, started to get angry again.
The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then looked up at his father.
'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.
'Because I didn't have enough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.
'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'
The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little son, and he begged for his forgiveness.
This is just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family & friends we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

What's Up
Sorry for neglecting my blog for quite a while. If only you are right in front of me, my apologetic face looks something like this -----> /_\
I hope my fellow readers did not abandon me because of this?? If you're reading this, it mean you did not! Haha. Well, thank you for being so faithful.
Let's see what was I up to for the past week. There are a couple of good news I am going to share with you. I was so hounored to be approached by this online design website, designeRoof, to showcase some of my works on their site. Yay! Here is the link to the page. Be sure to check out some of the great artists/designers on the site as well.
The second wonderful thing that happened.. I was introduced to a friend's friend who owns a coffee house here in Singapore - The Coffee Nations. This very generous boss actually offered me a space to showcase some of my works, believe it or not, for NO cost at all! Best part was, he even offered to help me sell off the products if customers are interested to purchase them. Again, for NO commission at all! Where on earth can you find such a great deal especially when you've only met that person for the first time? All I can say is, I must have done a whole lot of good deeds in my past life. lol.
Here are some of the pics I took at the coffee house.
Before and...
after. I hope my products look more appealing than the puffs. lol. Oh I forgot to mention this is a two storey coffee house. A few of my paintings are also displayed on the second floor. Hee.
Coffee and travels is the concept of this coffee house. Here at The Coffee Nations, you get to taste different coffee from around the world. I really like its cosy ambiance.
Beautiful travel pics.
This place looks even nicer if you come in the evening.
Do come by when you visit Singapore! For more details, you can check here.
Oh boy, trust me, I've got so much more to share but my brain is threatening to pass out any minute. The time here is 1:37am now and I seriously need my beauty sleep. Good night to me and good morning to some of you. Zzzzzz........

Random Pics
These are some lovely pics I took over the weekend. My mind and soul are fully charged after spending half a day at the beach. If there is one thing I couldn't resist, it is the wonders of the sky...
The beautiful sky completely lured me away from my busy mind.
You may think every pics look similar but every movement of the clouds and colors of the sky are different to me. That is the wonder of it. If you learn to appreciate the littlest things in life, you will understand what I mean. :)
Lonely soul?
After a rejuvenating visit to the beach, we are now back to the city. A bit of info - SwissĂ´tel The Stamford, previously known as Westin Stamford, is the tallest hotel (73-storey) in the south of Asia and the third tallest hotel in the world.
Esplanade, also known as the 'big durian' is a performing arts venue for local and international performances.
On the right hand side of this pic is the Singapore Flyer. For more pics of the giant ferris wheel, here are some pics I've posted a few months ago.
The Singapore's Integrated Resort (IR). Planned to be completed in 2009, it will be the first casino in our country.
Overlooking the Business Towers.
The Fullerton Hotel.
I have no idea what these are but the one in the middle looks like an UFO to me. lol
Lastly, I came across these beautiful lamps while touring inside the Esplanade. May your day be as colorful. :)
